one weekend

Dylan bought some new pants.  This is him trying them out.

Last weekend, Dylan and I went to see the movie "Revolutionary Road".  It was pretty good.  Then we met Mike at the McDonald's on Union Square and Dylan made some beautiful art.

After we ate at McDonald's, Dylan and Mike ate at Taco Bell.

I bought some almonds from one of those "Nuts 4 Nuts" stands.  They were warm and tasty.  Mike stole some from me.

The other night I made red curry with tofu.  It turned out pretty good!

Dylan bought a new amp from a guy who lives in the financial district.  He decided to carry it to and from the subways instead of paying for a cab.  Jessica, Mike and I came along to watch.

Drew came to NYC this weekend to visit and celebrate his birthday.  Doesn't Dylan look like he's having so much fun?

demonstration and dinner

On Sunday, Dylan and I took the train down to the Whole Foods to have some lunch.  We came upon a demonstration against the military aid in Israel.  A man down the street must have said something rude because all of the sudden people in the parade began yelling and throwing things at him.  It made me feel kind of upset.

Last night I made fish tacos and cornbread for dinner.
